Bug Reporting Tools
A bug-reporting tool is a tracking system that keeps track of defects in software development projects.
Issue tracking provides a structured way to capture and process the various questions and defects that come up over the course of a project.
Depending on their project requirements and budget constraints, there are many bug tracking systems in use today.
For some companies open source bug-tracking tool is a better choice, for other it could be the licensed one, which can be customized, based on their needs. Other systems are used only internally in a company.
Typically bug-tracking systems are integrated with other software project management applications.
Aim is to ship software as quickly as possible with the fewest issues possible.
By themselves, these two concepts are at odds with each other and are rarely used in quick succession.
In order to prevent issues, you need to invest time. You can always ship faster by lowering quality. Getting a good bug tracking/test management tool could be the key to get the good quality software ship quickly.
